Important Upcoming Updates You Should Know

The second One NHS Finance online conversation ‘Shape the Future’ has now launched! Please contribute your ideas to help develop the NHS Finance Function and our programmes by August 11. Register for a free account at IdeaScale with your NHS email and then please verify your account (remember to check your spam folder just in case!) Then enter your email verification code. Now you are all set to browse ideas and contribute anonymously to the One NHS Finance Shape the Future conversations.

We have produced a new Inclusion and Diversity Ambassador Starter guide, to help new members make the most on all the opportunities available through the network.

Programmes

Last month we hosted the National Finance Leaders Talent Pool – development centre in London, where we welcomed the 4th cohort of aspiring finance leaders to help them develop their skills in preparation for future CFO roles.

A new programme guide on Access Accountancy is now available to download, view it here.

This month we have launched the new Development Self-Assessment Tool, this self-assessment toolkit is based on the NHS Finance Competency Framework which outlines the technical and behavioural skills required at each stage of a finance career in the NHS. Please read our guide explaining how you can use this.

This month the official launch of the new National Talent Management strategy and guidance for NHS finance took place at the One NHS Finance Summit. It has been co-created over the last 18 months in collaboration with NHS leaders and the finance community. The strategy aims to be inclusive, supporting staff at all levels, leaving no one behind.
