We are thrilled to announce the launch of our second online conversation, aiming to foster the continued growth and adoption of One NHS Finance. We invite everyone in NHS Finance to participate in discussions and contribute to shaping the future of the function. By sharing your insights and ideas, we can harness the collective knowledge of the NHS finance community to shape and develop the most effective NHS Finance function.

Following the success of our initial conversation in 2021, where over 3,200 individuals from diverse organisations, regions, roles, and grades contributed nearly 30,000 ideas to our online platform. All of the contributions to this were developed into our Finance Development strategy, which we’re now delivering through our three national programmes: the National Finance Academy, Future-Focused Finance, and the Finance Innovation Forum.

Since our first conversation, significant changes have occurred, prompting us to launch a second conversation.  This presents a unique opportunity for you to provide invaluable feedback on the progress made so far against our 5-year strategy, and identify any emerging priorities for our national and regional programmes and networks.

We strongly encourage all members of the NHS Finance community, regardless of their region, role, or grade, to actively participate in this conversation.  Whether you prefer submitting ideas, voting on suggestions, or offering comments, your input will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of the NHS Finance Function.

We understand that some colleagues may be facing challenges at present, but we genuinely appreciate the contributions of each and every individual. Your insights and perspectives are vital in determining the future of NHS Finance.
