The Inclusion and Diversity Ambassadors Network brings together like-minded finance colleagues regionally, to work together to share best practice and ideas around initiatives that support improvements to equality, diversity, and inclusion across NHS Finance.

The aim of the network is to help us understand what programmes and work on this agenda are currently working well and making a positive difference, but to also identify challenges and areas that need support / improvements. To facilitate this, regional networks have been established for I&D Ambassadors to come together to discuss, share, and produce local action plans for the organisations in their region to implement. The network’s objectives link to the national finance development strategy and EDI action plan, and they also provide feedback and insight on what’s happening ‘on the ground’ to the national teams and leaders who set the One NHS Finance strategic direction.

The Ambassador role is a fantastic opportunity to increase your profile and network, meet like-minded people, and to be involved in making a positive change within NHS finance. It also provides you with access to senior leaders across your region and opportunities to get involved in national meetings and events.
