Networks
Last month, we held our flagship event, VMAC, in London. It was fantastic to see so many of our Value Makers together in person for an inspiring day filled with insightful sessions, shared learning, and plenty of opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the country. A huge thank you to our brilliant Chair, Suzanne Robinson, for doing such an outstanding job, and to all our speakers and network exhibitors who helped make the day a success! Last month, the National Disabilities Network held a showcase on how reasonable adjustments can support staff with disabilities and long-term conditions. If you missed this session, you can watch back here.
Coming up this month, we have another Health and Wellbeing webinar. This session will explore the science behind chronic inflammation, its causes, how to identify it, and practical steps to reduce its impact on your body. Last month, we delivered Day 2 of the Empowering Women in Leadership programme in London, as well as one of the Career Shapers virtual sessions. The team were also delighted to attend the HSJ Awards and to be awarded Workforce Initiative of the Year for the NHS Finance Insights placement scheme! Read more about the awards here: WE WON! This month, on December 8, 10:00 – 11:00, we have an insightful session exploring how Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS FT have rolled out their Talent Management Strategy and transformed talent conversations into a data-driven TM Pipeline Model. The session will demonstrate how the TM Pipeline Model helps capture and visualise the outcomes of those conversations, turning qualitative insights into actionable data. Coming up on December 9, 09:30 – 12:30, we have a special Demystifying NHS Finance for Resident Doctors. Throughout the session, delegates will gain a basic understanding of the NHS structure and how it has changed and is ever-evolving. This will include an understanding of how the money flows, including local and national commissioning. Be sure to share this session within your networks and organisations.
