Finance and Procurement Newsletter

South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, North East and Yorkshire, Mental Health

The problem

We’ve identified a need to improve communication regarding finance and procurement within our relatively new ledger system. Users often face challenges in understanding finance and procurement messages and resolving common issues, hindering their ability to effectively manage orders and invoices.

The challenge

How can we communicate messages to end users in a manner that is engaging and uses simple language they can readily comprehend? By doing so, we aim to empower users to confidently handle orders, system notifications, and requests in a timely manner. Additionally, we seek to elevate the visibility of both departments and establish a friendly, approachable communication method. It’s crucial to consider various work styles and the ability to reach a large number of staff digitally.

The outputs

Quarterly newsletter with key messaging

Increased visibility and profile of financial accounts and procurement

Increased cross team working between financial accounts and procurement

The outcomes

More confident end users when using the system.

End users knowing who to contact within financial accounts and procurement – a friendly face.

A new way of sending information and key messages.
