Finance department at Bradford District Care Foundation Trust (BDCFT) needs to communicate on a regular basis with its team who regularly work remotely.

The challenges

How might we communicate with each other so that we can continue to form good working relationships? How do we improve team motivation, improve the way we communicate and prevent staff from feeling isolated?

What were/are the outputs?

• Great work wellbeing, checking in on staff to ensure that they are ok?
• Opportunity to bring ideas/discussions to these groups
• Great for new staff to meet the finance team, especially as they run on a regular basis.

What were/are the outcomes?

• happier workforce
• finance team feel involved
• opportunity to have a chat/catch up with the team
