Networking in the South West
The South West Finance Academy will increase the networking, sharing and collaboration opportunities across the region, with a focus on the health and wellbeing of our staff.
The South West Finance Academy’s networking workstream runs in collaboration with the South West Value Maker Network. As part of its Networking workstream the South West Finance Academy aims to:
- Bring together finance staff from across the region working in financial and management accounting, forecasting, business planning, costing and procurement as well as students and apprentices
- Enable finance staff across the region to be able to ask for help, share information, network and share successes on a daily basis
- Demonstrate a commitment from senior leaders in the region to the continuous improvement of their finance departments
- Support the rollout of the Value Maker Strategy across the region, and drive further engagement in this network
- Ensure a standard of excellence across the region through the One NHS Finance accreditation process
