Networks
Last month we held 15 online network meetings, as well as one of our biggest in-person events of the year VMAC in London, thank you to all our speakers and attendees who made the day such a success! Find out what Value Maker Showcase Sessions are taking place in the new year.
MIAA delivered a session on practical guidance for organisations looking to enhance their staff wellbeing with a data-driven approach, if you missed the session, you can watch back here: Wellbeing data into Wellbeing action.
This month is quiet for events, but we have a jam-packed January with showcases from The Rainbow Network, FACE and our popular annual Health and Wellbeing Conference, which will be held on January 21.
Programmes
Last month the team were busy delivering career development programmes, including delivering a two-day residential development centre for the current cohort of The Aspiring Deputies National Talent Pool delegates.
Don’t forget that applications are still open for The National Finance Leaders Talent Pool, this programme is suitable for Deputy Finance Directors (or equivalent) who are now ready to advance in their careers to board-level Chief Finance Officer or Finance Director. Applications close January 3rd, 2025.
This month, we have just re-launched The Mentoring Programme, this is open to anyone eager to enhance their skills, expand their network, and achieve their aspirations with the help of a trusted mentor. Find out everything about the programme and how you can sign up here: The Mentoring Programme
Also, this month, find us at the HFMA Annual Conference where will be announcing the winner of the ONF Outstanding Contribution Award and presenting those organisations who have achieved Level 3 Accreditation with their certificates.
Thank you to everyone who submitted an innovation as part of Cohort 10 of the Finance Innovation Programme, these will be peer-reviewed in due course and if successful published in the Innovation Library early next year.
Lastly, we have recently published a 2024 update to the Crossing Professional Boundaries Toolkit, this is designed to help NHS organisations evaluate and improve working relationships, particularly between clinicians and finance staff.
