Networks
Last month, we held another instalment of our NHS Finance Inclusion Series, with sessions focused on how inclusive leadership and active allyship can create meaningful change in the NHS. A big thank you to all our speakers who made the conference such a success!
We announced the shortlist for this year’s Value Maker Awards, read the full list and all the nominees here: Value Maker Awards 2025: Shortlist and Nominees Announced! 🏆. The awards will be presented at VMAC on November 19. Good luck to all those nominated! We want to say a massive thank you to our regional Value Maker leads who helped us to shortlist these. We are very much looking forward to seeing many of you in London at the conference.
Coming up this month, we have a session from our Inclusion & Diversity Network. Join Sharon Gilfoyle, Associate Director of Inclusion at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, for a session exploring how reasonable adjustments can support staff with disabilities and long-term conditions. Learn practical examples, hear success stories, and gain ideas to create a more inclusive workplace. Programmes
Last month, we were busy delivering many of our leadership development programmes, which included the Aspiring Deputies National Talent Pool development day, the First in-post CFO programme and a National Finance Leaders Talent Pool masterclass. Virtual development sessions also took place as part of the Empowering Women in Leadership programme.
Two new Talent Management Case Studies have been published; Case Study: Talent Management, Development of a pipeline model and Case Study: Talent Management – Templates and Feedback – thank you to Tameside and Glossop for sharing these with us. The Finance Innovation Forum is pleased to showcase 11 newly published Cohort 12 finance innovations, designed to support you and your NHS teams. Each innovation outlines the initial challenges faced, the solutions implemented, and the tangible outputs, outcomes, and quick wins achieved. This month, we also have two more 1-hour Innovation showcases coming up; Innovation Showcase Session- Prepayment Checker/ BBPC – A quick and stress free way of reporting on November 10 and Innovation Showcase Session: Reducing time to process invoices on November 20.
