Quotes from placement students

“I have had great experience in different areas of finance from Contracting, Management Accounts, Capital and more… I have also been on a couple of training courses, to further improve my skills, one for Excel training and another for interview preparation. Overall, I am having a blast and am treated like an adult with real responsibility and have been trusted with more tasks over the scheme duration and as my skills have improved.” Ellis Cook, Insights Placement Student, Humber Health Partnership.

“I have gained confidence in my work, as I have been trusted with bigger tasks which require a lot of responsibility. I have started to make and answer calls regarding unpaid invoices, whether it is for car parking or ringing up for remittances.  I have become more independent, as it is not like college where you can rely on your teacher or friends, this is work that has to be done yourself.” Hafsah Farooq, Insights Placement Student, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

“I’m working with lots of teams within finance, gaining lots of experience and confidence using different software which will be helpful to later goals. I have also been lucky to experience face-to-face interactions with patients and staff members by going to patients bank on a regular basis.” Millie Wilbour, Insights Placement Student, Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust.
