Accounts Payable needs to maintain the Better Payments Practice Code (“BPPC”) at 95% because otherwise we don’t meet the targets set by the Department of Health and Social Care. It is also particularly important to make prompt payments to suppliers, especially during a pandemic.
How might we approve and pay all invoices in a timely manner so that the targets are met and to ensure goods and service supplies are maintained for patients?
Increased BPPC from 69% to 97%, improved relations with suppliers, improved monitoring of unpaid invoices
Improved stats for the trust, improved staff morale within AP, more efficient payments to suppliers.
