UK 4 Nations Exchange
About the exchange
The HFMA and One NHS Finance sponsored UK 4 Nations Exchange offers an exciting opportunity to visit an NHS organisation in one of the other home nations, offering exposure and networking opportunities with colleagues in a role similar to yours. You’ll be able to exchange ideas in addressing similar issues, pick up alternative methods and approaches and expand your network.
This opportunity is open to upto 6 individuals per home nation to trial on a pilot basis with a view to expanding in the medium term. A matching process will put you in contact with one other person from another home nation based on the information you supply in your application form (below). You will organise with your matched individual the timings of each exchange, making them work best for you both. Costs of accommodation, travel and reasonable subsistence will be covered. You will need to ensure your organisation is supportive of both your time away from the office which will be upto 5 consecutive working days and also to support the visit of an individual to your workplace for the same duration. Where possible, we encourage the exchange to take place in the same week as any conferences or face-to-face events in your region to enable a broader networking experience for your visitor. Further, as these are face-to-face visits we expect individuals to operate from a work-based location for the duration of the exchanges.
