Bio:
I have been working in NHS Finance for almost 10 years in various roles across both providers and commissioners. My career started with a placement year at Leeds Teaching Hospital as a part of my Accounting & Finance Degree. I then went on to complete the NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme in Yorkshire, where I qualified with CIPFA and obtained my Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare Leadership.
I have now worked in Norfolk for 6 years and I currently work for NHS Norfolk & Waveney ICB as the Senior Finance Manager for Mental Health. I first got involved with FFF in Yorkshire, until moving to Norfolk where I became the East of England Value Maker Lead. I am proud of the ONF work we have done in Norfolk and Waveney, with workstreams on Talent Management, Equality & Diversity, Health & Wellbeing and Communications, taking a system approach to staff development. I am passionate about the future of finance within the NHS, networking with individuals where we can share best practice, make positive change and ultimately deliver value for money and improve patientcare.
