There are 7 Finance Leaders Networks’ as follows:

Coming up…

NFA will be running a series of workshops ‘In conversation with’ various NHS board members including Finance Directors, Chief Executives, Medical Directors and Non-Executives. This series of events will give attendees an opportunity to hear about the careers of NHS leaders, how they have dealt with the challenges of the pandemic and the skills needed to become a leader. For each session we are looking for a Chair from the NFA Finance Leaders network, if you would be interested in Chairing one of these sessions please email us.

Series 3 ‘In conversation with …’ events: 

December 14th: ‘In Conversation with’ is Tony Matthews, Finance Director at Midlands and Lancashire CSU, talking to us about his role and the challenges faced, particularly over the last year.

January 11th: ‘In Conversation with’ is Claire Wright, Deputy Chief Executive & Executive Director of Finance at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, talking to us about her role and the challenges faced, particularly over the last year.

January 19th: ‘In Conversation with’ is Peter Ridley, Deputy Chief Financial Officer – Operational Finance at NHS England and NHS Improvement, talking to us about his role and the challenges faced, particularly over the last year.

January 28th: ‘In Conversation with’ is Callum Pallister, Director of Finance at Health Education England and FLC member, talking to us about his role and the challenges faced, particularly over the last year.

Fireside Chat With John Amaechie – January 26th: 

Aimed exclusively at members of the Finance Leaders network, we welcome John Amaechi for a discussion around leadership.

John Amaechi is a respected organisational psychologist, an OBE, Chartered Scientist, elected Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health, bestselling New York Times author, Research Fellow at the University of East London, and Found of APS Intelligence. He uses his deep psychological insight combined with real life experience to provide a touchstone for people and companies who want to thrive, achieve and align their beliefs, values and ethics.
