The Financial Management team aimed to ensure clarity and confidence in the Trust's financial position for themselves, senior finance management, and budget holders. They needed to establish a consistent reporting format that could effectively serve various stakeholders and provide assurance at multiple levels of consolidation. As a result of their efforts, they created a financial report pack for the CFO, which simplified the monthly-end review process, allowed for benchmarking across teams, and enabled the use of different sections of the report for various audiences. This innovation benefited individuals, the team, the organization, and the system by streamlining financial reporting and offering valuable insights when facing financial pressures.
