The charity team needed to find a way to identify projects across the hospital where they could use charitable funding which was not attached to any particular department or service. It is important for the organisation to spend charitable funds to ensure they meet their charitable objectives, but it is also vital that they can show supporters how their kind donations are utilised to enhance patient care or improve staff welfare.

During the session you will learn about the process from start to finish, including how specific criteria was used to shortlist their final pitches. They will also take you through the many great outcomes that were a result of the project, some quite unexpected! The process was brilliant for inviting ideas from staff and creating a buzz around innovation at the Trust. There are many ways this idea could be applied within organisations to yield great results for both patients and staff.
